Golf outing raising money to for safe baby cribs

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Each year in Michigan, nearly 150 infants die as a result of unsafe sleep environments. According to the Department of Human Services, these deaths are 100 percent preventable.

The DHS is preparing a fundraiser, the Safe Sleep Golf Outing. It?s a fun day on the links that will raise money to buy Pack ?N Play cribs, sheets and educational materials for families in need.
